The event commenced with a Champagne cocktail party held on the patio of Mr. C Beverly Hills, followed by a visit to the restaurant’s private dining room called “The Rialto Room.” The dining table was elegantly furnished with soft-colored floral decorations and LOUIS XIII decanters. At the front of the room, an enlarged version of Anthony Davis’ Los Angeles Haute Living cover and the striking XO logo in its characteristic red-and-white shades were displayed prominently. Davis’ fierce expression in his Haute Living cover photo accurately reflected the main theme of the article he shared in the magazine – his unwavering determination to succeed.
As the attendees settled down, lively tunes filled the air and the room was set aglow with lowered lighting, setting the perfect atmosphere for dinner. The appetizers served were unique family-style dishes, including a delightful artichoke and avocado salad topped with parmesan cheese, crispy fried calamari accompanied by tartar sauce, baked tagliolini with mushrooms, and a spring-inspired risotto.
After the main course, guests were addressed by Kamal Hotchandani, the CEO of Haute Living, who expressed his gratitude to XO and LOUIS XIII for their support in making the event a success. The founder of JetSmarter, now known as XO and part of Vista Global, was present, along with LOUIS XIII, a long-time partner of Haute Living in promoting excellence across various fields. Hotchandani also thanked Klutch Sports Group, a division of United Talent Agency, led by Rich Paul, who was in attendance, for making the event possible. The star of the evening, Anthony Davis, was honored for his contributions to Los Angeles as a key player for one of the greatest NBA franchises of all time, as well as for his impact on the city beyond basketball.
